Beloved husband and best friend of the late Susan Weber (2015) for over 56 years. Cherished father of Brett (Betty), Paul, Marcia, Wayne (Julie) and Lynn (Henry) and his grandchildren Natalie (Andrew) and Megan. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Gertrude Weber of Guelph and his siblings Phyllis, Dorothy, Louise, Lloyd and June. William only had two careers in his life and loved both. William was a CPR employee for over 22 years and was the last station agent in Erin and then became a real estate agent until retirement. Dad was involved in many community activities including Lion's Club president, hockey, and served on Erin Village council for 26 years as a councillor, Deputy Reeve and Reeve. Dad's passion was history, especially of Erin, and trains and stations in Canada. Dad received many awards relating to his history research and his tireless community services. Our dad will be fondly remembered for his strength, tenacity, love of family and travel.
The family would like to thank the assistance of various PSWs especially Frank and Christina. A special thank you to Dr. Chan for her care, concern and home visits.
