

Alejandro “Alex” Frial-Lopez, 48, passed from this life in the comfort of home, surrounded by family and friends, on November 27, 2025. Born on October 28, 1977, Alex was a devoted husband, proud father, cherished son, caring brother, endeared uncle, treasured nephew, and friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.
Alex earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and dedicated over 25 years to a career in banking and lending. He was admired for his professionalism, kindness, and generosity of spirit, and colleagues and clients alike remember his gentle guidance and warm smile.
Above all, Alex shared a deep, enduring bond with his husband, Norwil “Noy” Frial-Lopez. Together, they built a life full of cherished memories, traveling, sharing quiet moments, and supporting each other through all of life’s joys and challenges. Their relationship was founded on mutual respect and a profound, unwavering connection. Alex was also a proud father to his son, Akili Frial-Lopez, and the time spent with his family brought him immense joy. Alex also fondly remembered his mama girl, Pudge, who passed before him. Whether traveling, watching sunsets on the beach, or simply enjoying a meal with family and friends, Alex found happiness in life’s simple, sacred moments, reflecting his affectionate, caring, and gentle nature.
He is survived by Noy, Akili, his parents, Roberto J. Lopez and Maria G. Lopez, his sisters Ana Maylin and Gabriela Lopez, many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roberto J. Lopez, Jr.
Alex’s loving spirit touched the lives of everyone he met. His humor, generosity, and gentle heart will be deeply missed, and the memories he leaves behind will continue to inspire and comfort all who loved him.
A Celebration of Alex’s Life will be held in the Spring of 2026, with the exact date and details to be announced.
