Antonette "Ann" K. Samz, 90, passed away on January 12, 2016 at Cedar Lake Assisted Living, Lake Zurich, IL She was born on July 6, 1925 in Waukegan, IL Antonette was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Waukegan for many years. She was active in Golf and Bowling Leagues. Long-time Office Manager at the Swedish Glee Club Survived by son, Douglas (Holly) Samz and daughter, Deborah Samz Atkins (Kevin) and cherished grandmother to Derek (Stephanie) Samz, Brian (Ashley) Samz, Cara Samz, Mark Atkins, Joe Atkins, and Olivia Atkins. Beloved Great-Grandmother to Kaitlyn Samz. Andrew Samz and Claire Samz. Sister to Sadie Abney, Joe, Nick, Andy and Tom Bentivegna. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Red" Samz; mother Sadie Bentivegna; father Nunzio Bentivegna; step-mother Rosalee Bentivegna; brothers Sam and Jim Bentivegna; sisters, Marie Brehm and Ann Binning. Vistation will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 508 Grand Ave., Waukegan IL on Friday, January 15, 2016 9:00 am with funeral mass at 10:00am. Fr. David Ryan will officiate.
