Beatrice Davis

Beatrice was born August 7th 1948, the youngest of 5 children of Frank and Dorthy Bendorf. Beatrice moved to Antioch Illinois in 1973 with John Duckworth and that is where they raised their family. Beatrice enjoyed horseback riding, boating and disco dancing.

She had a very strong and resilient personality. She was the life of every party, and loved all dogs and treated them like her own children. Beatrice eventually moved back to Chicago and was a beloved bartender for over 30 years at the Hock Shop.

Beatrice is survived by her siblings Barbara Long, Frank Bendorf, Beverly Cocoran and Robert Bendorf. She was the mother of three children, Tammy Uselton, Leonard Lair, and Shannon Baratti. The grandmother of seven children, Shaina Sichelle, Josh Lair, Taylor Brandon, Dylan Duckworth, Caitlin Baratti, Kyleb Lair, and Addison Lair. She was great grandmother to two children, Sage Krogman and Willow Krogman.

There will be a friend and family visitation held on Friday, March 22nd at Marsh Funeral Home (305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031) from 11am-12:30pm and directly following with a burial at Hillside Cemetery (1012-1020 Hillside Ave. Route 173 in Antioch, IL.) at 1:30pm.
