Bruce M. Skipper, age 75, of Waukegan passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home. Bruce was born on February 17, 1948 in Waukegan, IL to Sullivan and Blondena (Harrison) Skipper. He graduated from North Chicago Community High School in 1966 and from the University of Illinois. Bruce worked for many years at Abbott Labs as a Pharmacist. He also worked for over 20 years with the Lake County Sheriff's Department. Bruce enjoyed traveling and mentoring at the Lake County Jail. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father and maternal grandparents, Walker and Lucille Harrison.
Bruce is survived by his mother, Blondena Skipper; his sister, Beverly Skipper, as well as other family and many friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Marsh Funeral Home (305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee) with interment to follow at Warren Cemetery.
