Charles "Tony" received christ at an early age and was reborn into christianity later in his life. He graduated from Collins high school. At the age of 18 Charles "Tony" migrated to Chicago where he would gain the name Y2k from family and friends.
On February 7th 1997 he was blessed with his only child a baby girl Jireh Deborah Moore. On November 17, 2015 Charles married Barbara Harper.
On February 4, 2002 God decided that he needed Charles Antiono "Tony" Mclaurin to come home. He was preceded in death by his father Charles McLaurin Sr and grandfather and grandmother Annie Laura McLaurin.
Charles leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Barbara Mclaurin, his mother Eloise David his daughter Jireh also his stepchildren Martrell, Devonte, Maurice, Demonte and Nykiah. Grandchildren Shay, King, Miah and Milani. His sister Jacqulyn and brother James K. Mclaurin two sister-in-law, two brother-in-laws, a father-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A graveside service will occur at Warren Cemetery, 1475 N Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL 60031.
