Clara Peregrino Gabriel

Clara Peregrino Gabriel, age 96, born in Cavite, Philippines on June 6 1928, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. She was a member of the Roman Catholic church and of the Philippine Cursillistas, Philippine Region of Mary and Philippine Veterans. Clara retired as a teacher/ guidance counselor and Navy Exchange seamstress.

Clara will be missed deeply by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicanor, her daughter Cenita, and her granddaughter Nicole Coler. She leaves behind sister Felicitas Campat, children: Nonilon (Susan) Gabriel, Cielita Gabriel, Noel Gabriel, Noriel (Elizabeth) Gabriel, Carmela (Roger) Allen, Ceferina (Vincent) Lambrechts, Nelson (Nancy) Gabriel, grandchildren: Chris Gabriel, Calvin (Danielle) Gabriel, Noah (Jessica) Gabriel, Timothy (Candy) Coler, Jonathan (Autumn) Coler, Marshana Coler, Michael Gabriel, Claribel Gabriel, Patrick Allen, Jennifer (Tyler Bunch) Allen, Jessica (Matthew Bertrand) Allen, Catherine (Josh Tamayo) Lambrechts, Anthony Lambrechts, Clara (Joseph Meister) Lambrechts, Rose (Nicholas Meyers) Lambrechts, Nicholas Lambrechts, Nicole Gabriel, Neena Gabriel and great grandchildren: Brayden and Peyton Gabriel, Naomi Gabriel, Cefiana and Raymond Tamayo, Myla Meyers and Melvin Coler.

A visitation for Clara will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A visitation will occur Friday, July 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St Dismas Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish), 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087. Funeral mass Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Dismas Catholic Church (Little Flower Parish), 2600 Sunset Ave, Waukegan, IL 60087. Burial to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
