

David Gotlib, a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 3rd, 2024. He was born on August 8th, 1930, in Lublin, Poland, to Isaac Gotlib and Sarah Festman. David's early years were marked by the turmoil of World War II, prompting his family's move to Argentina, where he would begin his remarkable journey.
In Argentina, David's spirit flourished as he co-founded a machine shop alongside his father. It was during this time that he married the love of his life Beatrice Rubenstein December 4th, 1954. Together, they embarked on a life filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams.
With the help of his family he relocated to the United States, with his parents, wife and young children Silvia and Gabriel (Danny). In the United States they would go on to have their final child, Bonnie. In the United States he contributed his talents to Polk Brothers Furniture owning his own furniture store, Custom Bedding. Through hard work and determination, David established himself as a respected businessman, admired for his integrity and dedication.
Beyond his professional achievements, David was a vibrant soul who cherished life's simple pleasures. He had a passion for travel, exploring new horizons, and immersing himself in diverse cultures. His artistic talents shone brightly as he created beautiful sculptures, a testament to his creativity and love for craftsmanship.
Yet, David's greatest legacy lies in the profound impact he had on those around him. He was a beacon of joy, always ready with a kind word, a warm smile, and a contagious sense of humor. Everywhere he went, David forged meaningful connections and left a lasting impression, earning him a variety of friends who cherished his presence.
David Gotlib will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his children, sister, grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. May his memory be a blessing and a source of comfort during this time of mourning.
