Eleanor L.Torbeck, 88, of Libertyville, passed away on December 21, 2011 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. She was born July 27, 1923 in Waukegan, Illinois. Eleanor was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran in Libertyville, IL and retired from Abbotts. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Sue) Torbeck; grandchildren, Tom (Susan), Ken, James and 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Doris (Bob) Burandt and Dorothy Kerin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rudy, parents Luther and Winnie Loy and 8 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5 to 8pm and Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 10 until time of service, 11am at Marsh Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Robert A. Davis (Pastor Bob) will be officiating. Interment will take place at Northshore Garden of Memories following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society .
