Elizabeth Ann Jacobson, 77, of Waukegan, IL, passed away peacefully at home March 17, 2010 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born September 14, 1932 in Vienna, IL, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waukegan for over 45 years. Elizabeth worked for the Veterans Administration until her retirement and was Director of Purchasing and Contracting at Lakeside Medical Center.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Thomas Jacobson; beloved son John (Coleen) Jacobson; and dear grandsons Nathan and Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lon and Mabel Simmons.
Services for her will be Saturday, March 20, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, 128 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Waukegan. Visitation will be 5 to 8pm on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Burial at Highland Memorial Park in Libertyville.
