Loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Janet Marie Ostrander (Haugh), born April 20, 1929 in Milwaukee, WI, joined her beloved husband, Joe Ostrander, in heaven on January 24, 2016. She is survived by her sons Jim, married to Denise (Turkowski) and John, married to Pam (Rolfs); grandchildren, Katie, married to Alex Morgunov, Steven and Daniel Ostrander; and brother Donald Haugh, married to Ingrid (Johnson). In addition to her husband of 63 years, Janet is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marie (Carpenter) Haugh. As a teacher for 28 years at Highland Park Schools, Janet helped give hundreds of children a solid foundation for learning and life. Her influence will last forever. We will celebrate Janet's life at Village Church of Gurnee on January 29, 2016 with visitation from 3:30-6pm and a 6pm memorial service. Refreshments immediately following.
