Maxine was a member of the Eastern Star. She worked as a buyer, secretary and bus driver throughout her years. Maxine is survived by her daughter Mitzy (John) Krizek; son, Joseph (Karen) Svehla; grandchildren, Jerome (Danielle) Krizek, Zachary Krizek, Jacob Svehla and Evelyn Svehla; sister, Linda Mae Fletcher; nieces, Tiffany Sutton and Mandy Fletcher; nephew Michael (Michael) Fletcher, special friend, Michael (Jim) Fletcher; great nephews, Steven and Robert Sutton; and a great niece, Ariel Riviera.
Preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Lawrence Svehla; daughter, Kathyline Jo-Lynn Svehla; parents, Joseph and Kathyline Dostalek and her sister, Kathrine Jo-Ann Dostalek.
A visitation for Maxine will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031 with a service at 7:00 PM.
