

Judith Ann Stucker (Wendt), of Waukegan, IL, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Judy was born on September 30, 1941. Judy is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband, Robert Stucker; parents, Hazel and Russell Wendt; and her beloved pets.
Survived by her three sons; Brian (Jayne), Brett(Stacy), and Burke(Molly); sister Barbara(Harold) Kerkorian. Proud Grandma to Logan(Anna), Greta, Robbie, Drew, Brigette, Ben, and Ava.
As a young child, Judy grew up around horses and was proud of her numerous equestrian awards. She graduated from Waukegan Township High School and married Bob in 1962. They raised their family in Waukegan where they established innumerable and enduring friendships. She worked for the family's Metropolitan Alarm Service Company and ended her career as a teacher aide for Winthrop Harbor Public Schools.
Judy loved shopping, a clean house, organized closets, and her colored coordinated outfits. She enjoyed attending her son’s and grandchildren’s athletic events. Judy decorated for all holidays, especially Christmas. How fitting that she passed into the arms of Jesus during the Christmas season, a time she so deeply loved.
Judy’s funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3 at North Prairie United Methodist Church, 5000 West 9th Street in Zion, IL. Visitation begins at 10:00 am with the funeral starting at 11:00 am. Celebration of Judy’s Life following the funeral at Quonset Pizza, 2602 Grand Avenue, Waukegan, IL from 4 to 7 pm. Memorials preferred to Animal Education & Rescue (www.aear.org).
