

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 620 West Grove Avenue in Waukegan, Illinois. Interment to follow at Millburn Cemetery. Immediate Family only.
Tina was born on a farm in Des Plaines, IL on April 13, 1950 to Paul and Hulda (nee Schuster) Schumann. The family moved to Libertyville when Tina was eight years old.
Tina learned to play the organ at a young age and later served as the Organist and Choir Director for Redeemer Lutheran Church in Waukegan.
She was an avid reader and created beautiful crafting work in cross-stitch, hand-quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She was also a great seamstress.
Tina had a lifetime of love for her dogs. She also loved to travel and went on many cruises in her younger days. In later years, she enjoyed going on girls’ trips throughout the Midwest with her sister and nieces.
Tina worked for Cardinal Health (American Hospital Supplies/Baxter) for over 30 years.
She is remembered as a kind-hearted woman who had a great love for her family and was devout in her faith.
Tina is survived by her nephews and niece, Richard Arthur and Sharon (Tim) Seagrave; great-nephews and nieces Andrew (Jocelyn) Mehring, Justin Mehring, Joe (Karen) Arthur, Taryn (Mike) Rodriguez; great-great nephews and nieces Addison, Jase, and Jayden Rodriguez, Sienna, Ben, and Ella Arthur, and Liam and Adaline Mehring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Hulda Schumann, sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Richard Arthur, and Brother Paul Schumann.
