Marian P. Rivera, 80, of Winthrop Harbor was born September 16, 1934 in Chicago to the late James and Esther (nee Wagner) McTaroff and passed away November 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Marian was the beloved wife of the late Francisco; loving mother of Francisco “Frank” Jr. (Ching) Rivera; cherished grandmother of Jessica Rivera (Rupert) Montejo and Joanna Rivera (David) Catalano; great-grandmother of Nicholas, Nathan and Anthony; dear sister of the late Shirley Virella and Leonard McTaroff and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 3-9 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Marian will lie in state on Friday, December 5 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral mass 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Road, Gurnee. Interment will be in Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
