Mary Jean Schlichting (McCabe) died Monday, August 23, after 94 years of life. She will now join her husband, Herbert Schlichting, and daughter, LeighAnn. Jean is survived by her daughters Patricia (John) Hallagan and Beth (Larry) Hilliard. Grandma of 7 grandchildren: Jean Marie Hallagan, Kristen (Kyle) Kreuser, Daniel (Heather) Schlichting, James Hilliard, Katelyn Hilliard, Timothy Hilliard, and Haley Hilliard. GG of 5 great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, Carter, Madelyn, Avery, and Charlotte. Jean was devoted to her family throughout her life, and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27 from 11-1 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee IL. Interment will be private.
