Mercedes Dizon Crisostomo, 75, of Waukegan passed away on December 9, 2012 at Glenlake Terrace Nursing Home. She was born on March 30, 1937 to Conrado and Ana Dizon in Manila, Philippines. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle and St. Anastasia Catholic Church and retired from Holy Spirit Convent in Northfield, IL. Mercedes is survived by her two children; Amorita (Celso) Alonzo and Ronaldo (Rosario) Crisostomo; 3 grandchildren, Christopher and Christiana Alonzo and Ronald Allan Crisostomo; 5 brothers and sisters, Amelia (Pablo) Bernardo, Conrado Jr. (Rosalinda) Dizon, Reynaldo (Cora) Dizon, Rafael (Leticia) Dizon and Adelaida (Cecilio) Imson; also survived by 1 sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Crisostomo; and a brother, Rogelio Dizon. Visitations will be on Thursday, December 13th and Friday, December 14th from 4 to 9pm at Marsh Funeral Home. Funeral mass is Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 10:30am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd, Gurnee, IL. Interment at Ascension Cemetery.
