I worked with Mike while I was at Follett.  He was a wonderful man and someone I looked forward to seeing in the building every day.  He always had a smile on his face. He will be gretly missed.

I just heard the sad news.  I also worked with Mike at KIH as his secretary, MSS and merchandiser.  My prayers go out to the family, he was a wonderful guy and I enjoyed working for him.

I worked with Mike at K-Mart for many years, both while he was in high school and after.  He was one of the kindest,most considerate, and most compassionate young men I have ever had the privilege to meet.  My heart is heavy with sorrow for you and your family.  You are in my prayers.

I just heard the shocking and sad news. Like so many others, I had the pleasure to work with Mike and become friends. My prayers are with you.

My husband and I were so sad when we heard of the loss of such a wonderful person. We worked with him so many years ago and remember what a wonderful man Mike was. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Dear Faye, Nicole and Family,  I too worked with Mike at Follett 6 years ago, and kept in touch via Facebook after I left.  He always made you feel welcome and never made you feel you were in interuption.  He loved his family and we would compare stories of our daughters often.  I will miss him and keep you all in my prayers.

So very sorry for your loss.  I met Mike 10 years ago when I started to work for Follett.  He was very kind and helpful explaining expectations and needs for his department and how I could contribute to his team.  Mike will be missed by all who knew him. I am a better person just because I knew Mike. I had the absolute pleasure of being the teacher to his daughter Nicole, and ever since then a friend of the family. They are a family to look up to, always doing what's best for their daughter. Mike was an amazing person to people he knew and to people he didn't know, always treating people with respect. This sudden passing is hard to deal with, but, now he is Nicole's guardian angel. God bless Faye, Nicole, and our new Angel Mike.

I am Diana Jackson, Regional Manager for Follett.  Mike was truly an inspiration for all of us.  He set the standards for a great work ethic and a dedicated person.  I didn't know anything about his personal life but after reading his obitury, it's crystal clear that he lived his life as a truly great person as we all knew from working with him.  He we was a wonderful person.  Whenever I called on him for assistance, he assisted right away.  I remember him helping us open the store at University of Memphis and we had problems and he jumped right all over it and corrected the situation immediately and that was just one example of his dedication.  We will miss him truly not only as a Follett employee but as a truly great person.

I have known Mike since we were in first grade at Aquinas plus high school and some time together at IUN.  I so deeply sorry to hear his passing, please accept our deepest sympathies and prayers as words cannot express how I feel.  Mike was a great guy who touched many lives and I am extremely proud to have been his friend for 45 years.  
Rest in Peace Mike, the world is a lesser place without you.

Mike was a great guy - always seemed genuinely interested in what you had to say. He never slowed down. I will remember him charging around our office in Oakbrook as though he was late for something. I'm sure that's because he took on more responsibility than most of us. He will be missed but remembered with a smile.

I am so sorry for your loss!  I used to work with Mike at KMart in Merrillville.
