Michael Robert Streicher

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Roseanna Streicher; his five brothers and four sisters; his son Christopher; and his son-in-law Brett Oaks. Michael is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathy “Crump” Streicher; his daughters Theresa Oaks, Tracy (Ben) Scholl, and Carrie Streicher (Tom Bendull); daughter-in-law Daviana Beers; and his cherished grandchildren Rita, Hailey, Aiden, Andrew, and Leo.

He retired after 20 years of dedicated service with the Warren Township Highway Department. Michael will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and the joy he found in life’s simple pleasures. A devoted sports fan, he loved cheering for the Green Bay Packers. He was an animal lover, a jokester, and above all, a man who deeply loved his family. His humor, warmth, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Memorial Service will be held at Marsh Funeral Home, Gurnee, on January 24th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a service at 12:00PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at the American Legion in Gurnee from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
