

Born Patricia Ann Shelley on October 18th, 1940, in Waukegan, Illinois, she graduated from Zion-Benton High School and later graduated from nursing school.
Raised on a farm, she loved horses and was a member of the Wadsworth Wranglers, winning many awards for her equestrian skills.
She married Clifford Davis on May 14th, 1966, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wadsworth, where she was a lifelong and active member.
Patricia served as an obstetrics (OB) nurse at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan for 42 years. After retiring, she volunteered as a hospice nurse and also worked part-time at Rolling Hills Manor in Zion.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 60 years, Clifford; her daughters, Julie (Michael) O’Brien and Elizabeth (Mike) Behan; her son, Tim (Nicolle) Davis; eight beloved grandchildren, Alexandra, Jeffrey, Gregory, Mason, Emma, Hunter, Michael, and Nick; and four great-grandchildren, Ollie, Miles, Arya, and Luka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bernice Shelley, and her brother, Chuck Shelley, all of Wadsworth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23rd, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Illinois. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24th, at St. Patrick’s Church in Wadsworth.
