Pauline A Kilger

She was born in England on October 14, 1936, to Percival Maurice and Rose Louisa (Ponting) Allsopp. Pauline married Eugene Kilger on December 1, 1956, in England. In 1957, she became an American citizen. Pauline was a Catholic who cherished her faith.

Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Kilger and her parents Percy and Rose Allsopp.

In 1995, Pauline retired from Victory Hospital to spend time with her grandchildren and travel. She loved to garden, sew, quilt, and knit. Most of all she loved to travel the United States in her RV with her husband.

Pauline is survived by her three children, Steven T. Kilger, Karen Shultis and Kay (Thomas) Petersen. Cherished grandma to Nancy Shultis, Audra Kilger, Steven T. Kilger Jr., Nicholas Shultis, Matthew E. Petersen, Devin Rose Petersen, and Jonna M. Kilger. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, a chapel service will be held at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
