

Reno Joseph Massimino II, born in Pittsburgh on March 29, 1970, passed away on March 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with long-term health issues. He was a devoted father to his beloved son, Reno Joseph (RJ) Massimino III, who was the light of his life.
Reno leaves behind his cherished son, RJ; his loving sister, Deanna (Massimino) Butler, and her husband Walt; and his dear brothers, David Massimino and Paul Massimino. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reno and Margaret (Hanlon) Massimino, whom he always held close to his heart.
Growing up in Bridgeville, PA, Reno developed a deep love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours fishing and hunting grouse with his dogs, whom he trained with great skill and patience. His passion for these activities was only matched by his unwavering support for the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team he followed with fervor throughout his life.
Reno was known for his warm and friendly nature, making friends wherever he went. He cherished the friendships he developed throughout his life. He had a unique ability to connect with people and was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. His sense of humor and positive outlook on life were infectious, bringing joy to those around him.
Above all, Reno was an outstanding father. His son RJ was his pride and joy, and he dedicated himself to being the best father he could be. Whether it was teaching him about dog training, watching Impractical Jokers, helping with school projects, or simply spending quality time together, Reno was always there for his son, providing love, guidance, and support.
A memorial service to celebrate Reno's life is being planned on Sunday, April 6th, from 3pm-5pm at the SNPJ Club. The address is 540 3rd Ave, Bridgeville, PA 15017. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who touched so many others with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
