Romeo B. Bactol

Romeo B. Bactol, age 73, of Waukegan, IL passed away on Thursday November 30, 2017. Romeo was born December 6, 1943 in Balicbalic Manila Philippines. He belonged to the Disabled veterans of America and American Legion. He was a US Navy veteran for 22 years and a Lake County Correctional Officer for 13 years.

Romeo is survived by his wife, Josefina Bactol; children; Emmy (Anthony) Henry, May-Lynn (Michael) Montano and Khristo Bactol; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Edie and Jolie. Siblings include, Silvia Sarmiento, Victoria Jayme, Imelda Beeler, Silvano Bactol Jr.Sofie Agra, Flor Mapili, Renato Bactol.

Romeo was preceded in death by his parents Amparo and Silvano Bactol.

A visitation for Romeo will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, Gurnee, IL . A visitation will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at St. Dismas Catholic Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan, IL with a funeral service at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
