Ronald John Bruner

Surviving is his wife Barbara, of 52 years, his sisters, Suzanne (Jeff) and Heidi, his son, Rhett (Kelly) his grandchildren, Kai, Ella and Anna. He is also survived by his nephews, Jay (Julie), Aaron (Tina) and Dirk and his nieces, Cinnamon (Jay), Alisa (Alan), Tracy (Greg), Kristin (Rob), and Katie (Christopher), his grand nieces MyrphyLeigh, Madeline, Mavery, Madeline B, Ryan, Clara and Amy, his grand nephews Remington, Alan, James, Hayden, Mason, Dane, Ewan and Zachary. And also his beloved dog Charlie. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Clara Bruner, his brother, Richard and his sister, Gail.

After retiring from is job at First National Bank of Chicago, he volunteered for many years at Lake Forest Hospital and for the Lake County Veterans Association. He also was a member of the Illinois National Guard and a 50 year member of the American Philatelic Society. His presence will be missed by his Lane Tech track buddies, his many golf buddies, his morning coffee buddies, many neighbors and friends.

A memorial visitation for Ronald will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031.
