Rose Andrews

Andrews, Rose (nee Wacker) of Gurnee (formerly of Waukegan and Kenosha), 95, passed away at home on December 5th surrounded by her family. Rose was an avid bargain hunter and loved going to garage sales and playing pinochle with her sisters. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Truman, her parents Ferdinand and Mary Wacker; daughter-in-law, Linda Andrews and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her children, Buddy (Terry) Andrews, Jerry Andrews, Gloria Stripe and Debbie (Steve) Whitson; by a dear family friend, Dawn Biglow; her caregiver of 7 years, Selma Hulteen and many loving nieces and nephews. Rose was a loving grandmother to Todd (Jamie) Andrews, Cameron (Karin) Andrews, Emily Andrews, Matthew (Jennifer) Whitson, Tara (Justin) Shadden and Crystal (Christopher) Delaney. She also found great joy in her great grandchildren Kyle, Nicholas and Lauren Andrews, Kyra and Natalie Whitson and Miles Shadden. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. until time of service 11:00 A.M. the Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. Interment will be private. The family has asked that flowers be omitted.
