Toni was the most gorgeous person both inside & out. She had the most beautiful smile and was the most caring & loving person. She loved her family: Her grandmother, her father Edward, Mother Antonia, sisters, JoCaryl, Edna & Gerrie and her brother - Gene along with her husband’s family just as much; his mother Freida, his sister's Pat & Kathy their husbands along with all of their nephews & nieces. Her grand-daughter Hailee, but most of all her loving daughter Annette & her husband of over 40 years, Tom.
Toni had a very successful career at Allstate for 35 years, reaching the level of Senior Manager prior to her retirement.
Toni & her husband Tom loved to travel and visited over a dozen Caribbean islands, over 1/2 dozen vacations to various places in Mexico, numerous trips to Hawaii, 8 wonderful days in Tahiti, 18 fabulous days in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne & Cairns). Their next big adventure was to spend time visiting various parts of Europe. She loved laying on the beaches watching & swimming in the oceans.
She loved animals. They went to the zoo every year and she would sit in their backyard watching all the wildlife. When they went to Australia the zoo keeper asked Toni & Tom if they wanted to feed the animals. They got to feed all of the animals and went to view the penguins that night.
She especially loved all of their "Boys & Girls" (dogs). Sheba, Sparkie, Cotton, Cricket, Brandi -(Bobo), Molly - (side winder), Cleo, Chloe, Hailee, Heidi, Kelsey (Big Dog) & Kenzie (Little Shit).
She loved all of their homes and took great pride in keeping them spotless & modern (remodeling). She loved having nice things. She took pride in everything she did or owned.
She always looked beautiful no matter what she was doing. Her appearance was always stunning and exquisite. She loved shopping and having beautiful dresses and outfits. She was a fashionista.
She loved fine wine and dining out at nice restaurants. Going to the theater and watching plays brought her great joy and excitement. Toni loved all cooking, but her favorite cuisine was Mexican foods. She loved walking around downtown Chicago. After she retired from work at her job for 35 years she took up running and would run every day until she was no longer able to.
Toni loved talking, laughing and being with her soulmate/husband Tom for 43-1/2 years. Every time her husband went out of town he would send her flowers and a card. She saved every card he ever sent her. When one of them was gone they would call each other every night. They loved being together & missed each other every time they were apart. They were truly in love and best friends and will be together forever & always. The one thing she didn't like was fishing, which her husband did, as she would say way too much, but she would support him and allow him to go almost every day.
A visitation with Toni's family will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Marsh Funeral Home
