Valeria A. Penca, age 93, of Waukegan, passed away October 19, 2011 in Rockford, IL. She was born December 1, 1917 in Joliet, IL. Member of Immaculate Conception Church. Retired from Waukegan High School Food Service. Valeria is survived by four daughters - Patricia (Vern) Gaugush, Barbara Sanofsky, Francis (James) Cash, Nancy Penca (Randal Jones); grandchildren; Kevin (Debbie) Gaugush, Michael Sanofsky, Michelle (Ron) Krumsee, Valerie (Jeff) Weil, Rachel Cash; five great-grandchildren; son-in-law Gordon Marshall. Preceded in death by parents Anthony and Antoinette Yocus; her husband Frank Penca, brother Joseph Yocus, half sister Ana, daughter Rita Marshall. Services will be held October 22, 2011 at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 510 Grand Ave, Waukegan, IL. Burial Ascension Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 9:30 till time of Mass.
