William G Seeger

William (Bill) George Seeger, age 92, of Gurnee, Illinois passed away peacefully Thursday, February 27, 2025 surrounded by his family. Bill was born November 12, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Josephine Matuschak. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he went to Illinois Institute of Technology to get his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and his M.B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Chicago. During this time he married Rita Gruber on November 24, 1956, and they lived in Chicago where they raised 4 sons and one daughter. Bill enjoyed sports, cards, puzzles, games and was an avid reader. He is survived by his 5 children, Robert (Millicent), Thomas (Lorene), David (Carol), Donald (Valerie) and Kathleen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill found eternal peace alongside his loving wife Rita and his parents.

A visitation for William will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031. A mass of christian burial will occur at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 121 E Maple Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048. Committal to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
