A year has passed since Brian ascended.  His smiling face still floats through my mind and each time the Mets won a game during the 2022 season, my thoughts would be, Brian, you always wanted them to be the ‘Amazing Mets’ and perhaps you were sending them some good vibes from above.   Rest in power and peace my dear immortal friend.

My deepest condolences to the D'Ver family.

Brian probably spent more time in the boat than on dry land.

Brian was the younger brother of my classmate Stuart and we had many memorable adventures together during our high school years. Our most memorable time was when Brian and I decided to take a ski road trip over the holiday break. We loaded up our stuff into his new Bronco and spent a week skiing in NY and VT having some adversity!  We skied on shear ice at Gore Mountain and at 20 degrees below zero at Mount Snow.  On our last day to ski things were looking good on the weather so we decided to ski Killington but before getting there we got in a car wreck. At that point Brian declared us "Jinxed" and we headed home!

Brian gave us all the gift of laughter. We frequently exchanged lines from “The Honeymooners” with each other. In fact, when Stuart & I got married, he was still reciting lines to me! He was wonderfully uninhibited and had an impish smile which I shall never forget. I will miss him very much.

So sorry to hear about Brian. We so much enjoyed the family get togethers with good food and fun when we lived  on the East Coast and remember Brian as fun-loving and friendly.  He  clearly had a lot more living to do but memories of his humour and warmth will live on. Our thoughts are with you as you go through this difficult time.
