

Harold Krigsman, 83, of Hackensack, NJ, died on March 7, 2026. He was born to Joseph and Irene Krigsman in Brooklyn, NY, where he lived until moving to Bergenfield, NJ in 1969, and then to Hackensack 23 years ago. He worked as a women’s apparel sales rep for most of his career. After that, Harold owned a mobile dry cleaning business, which he ran until his retirement. Upon retirement, Harold volunteered in various capacities, transporting patients at Englewood Hospital, delivering meals with Meals on Wheels, and assisting MS patients at the JCC on the Palisades with their swim exercises.
Beloved husband of Lenore Krigsman, who passed away in 2014; loving father of Craig Krigsman of Boston, MA, and Tammy Chesney and her husband William of Ramsey, NJ, devoted grandfather of Emily and William Chesney. Harold was lucky to find a second love of his life in Elizabeth Cattaneo, who was by his side until his passing. He was the cherished brother of Melvin and Kenneth Krigsman, who predeceased Harold. Harold’s extended family includes his brother-in-law, Stan Leibowitz, who passed in 2025; his wife, Roberta, of Coral Springs, FL; and their daughter, Stefanie.

A Funeral Service will be held at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601, US, on March 9, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652, US, on March 9, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
