Born in Brooklyn, NY to Max and Fannie Toder. A World War ll Vet and a graduate of Brooklyn College and NYU Graduate School. He worked mostly for Western Union as a Marketing Research Analyst. He was involved with Temple Emeth activities and loved living in Teaneck. Herb will be most remembered for his sharp intellect and unique sense of humor, his absolute devotion and love of his family, love of politics and debate, intellectual curiosity, dogged support for the underdog and able to be honest with his opinions. Herb had a profound effect on those who took the time to know him and realize just how much kindness, integrity, decency and fun he truly was. Herb is survived by Phoebe, his wife of 60 years, sons Miles, Jonathan and Eric, Seven Grandchildren and a brother Joel.
