Jean Lane

Jean was dearly loved by Bob, her husband of 70 years, her 3 children: JoEllen, Steven and her baby Larry; by her 5 grandchildren: Rachael, Heather, Matthew, Stacey, Jessica, and her 5 great grandchildren: Rebekah (who was more like Jean’s sixth grandchild), Alex, Michaela, Melanie and Chip. She had a special relationship with everyone in her family, but her heart was certainly filled with an abundance of love for her grandchildren.

I'd like to mention a few other special people that were a big part of Jean’s life that she has now joined in eternal happiness. Seena, Jean’s best friend for life and very much a second mom and grandmother to Jean’s family; Sandy Gotlieb, her brother Howie's wife whom we lost too young but who left her stamp of exuberance on our lives, and Sandy and Howie’s daughters: Irene, Lisa, Stephanie and Jill whom Jean treated as her own children.

In addition to her husband, Bob, there are two other special men in Jean’s life: her older brother Arnold who passed several years ago, and her younger brother Howie who has always been as loving and kind as she was.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11:30AM Friday, February 28th at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ
