Joyce Lee Mandelblatt

Joyce was born in Anderson, IN, and moved to Pittsburgh, PA, as a young girl. She grew up in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Louis and Raye Supowitz.

She graduated University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Education and attended University of Pittsburgh Graduate School.

Joyce and her husband Len were loving and devoted partners in marriage for 69 years.

She loved reading, preparing delicious meals for family and friends, boating, and was an accomplished gardener.

She has been a resident of North Brunswick since 1966. She was a part time supplemental instructor, and later a teacher in the North Brunswick Township Schools. She retired from the staff at Linwood Middle School in 1994.

She was a member of B’nai Tikvah Congregation in North Brunswick.

She is predeceased by her son David who died in 1988. She is the sister of the late Albert J. Supowitz, the late Adelyne Crumb, and sister-in-law the late Gertrude Supowitz.

Joyce is survived by her husband Leonard, her son and daughter-in-law, Lowell and Michelle, her grandchildren, Danielle and Dylan, and her loving nieces and nephews.
