

Marvin P. Feldman, 85 of Fort Lee, New Jersey, passed away peacefully following a brief illness surrounded by his family on October 24, 2016. Marvin was born and raised in Bronx, NY where he met and married his beautiful wife Rochelle Novitz. They moved to Closter NJ to raise a family in the suburbs. Marvin was the founder and President of Emerson World of Travel, and had hundreds of loyal clients and friends that trusted him to arrange their vacations for over 30 years. His sense of humor was legendary. Marvin had a passion for travel, food and family; was a past Master of the Masonic Temple; was an active member of the Closter Lions Club for over 30 years; and a long-time supporter and member of the Association of Bergen County Police Chiefs.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rochelle; daughter Caren of Washington Township; son Eric and Daughter-in-law Sara of Redondo Beach, California; and four grandchildren (Joshua, David, Alyson and Jenna).
Memorial services and celebration of life will be held at Gutterman and Musicant, 402 Park St, Hackensack on Wednesday October 25 at 1:00pm, followed by interment at Sharon Gardens cemetery, Valhalla NY.
The family requests donations in lieu of flowers in memory of Marvin Feldman to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (www.michaeljfox.org).
