Phyllis R. Kronenfeld, a resident of Fair Lawn since 1965, passed away Friday, July 23, at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was 84. Born in Brooklyn, Phyllis (nee Fenichel) graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and was an accomplished pen-and-ink artist and watercolorist. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and knitting gifts for her family. Phyllis worked many years in the jewelry departments of A&S, Macy’s and Lord & Taylor in Paramus. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Arnold; their children, Ira (Myrna) of Lake Hopatcong; Pamela, of Fair Lawn; and Jeffrey, of Roxbury; grandchildren Melissa (Michael), Rachel (Keith), Brett (Marisa), Rebecca, Zachary and Corey; great-grandson Maverick; sister Leila Guzman of Highland Park; and sister-in-law Anna Levin of Teaneck. Services are Sunday, July 25, at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, Hackensack, followed by burial in Beth Moses Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y.
