Ralph Sheppard

Ralph Sheppard was born Wolfgang Siegfried Schlesinger in Berlin, Germany on December 2, 1931, died December 17, 2013 in Palm Beach, Florida at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 58 years to Edith, devoted father and father-in-law to Lori Sheppard and Michael Labriola, Gary and Riva Sheppard, Robert and Julie Sheppard, loving cousin to Andrew and Sally Fleming, and adored grandfather of Emily, Cole, Daniel and Luke. Ralph Sheppard was a decorated veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War where he served with distinction, receiving two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star for Bravery. He was an innovative CEO and founder of one of New York’s premier commercial cleaning companies. Throughout his life, he fought for the rights of the oppressed and was a voice of the underdog.

Donations can be made in his honor to the ADL or the Disabled American Veterans.

Funeral service will be held 11:30am today, Friday December 12/20/2013 at the Chapel of the Sanctuary of Abraham & Sarah, located in Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ
