Davis, Rebecca of New City, NY formerly of Middletown, NY and North Port FL died on February 1st, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Samuel (Ellen), Charles (Marilyn) & Bernard. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Michelle, Jordon, Heather, Erik, Justin, Stephanie and 9 great grandchildren.
Rebecca was a highly respected reading teacher at the Washingtonville CSD and Hebrew School teacher at Temple Sinai, Middletown. She was very active in the Sarasota County Florida Jewish Community and was President of Temple Beth-El North Port Jewish Center where she spearheaded the expansion of the Synagogue building.
Funeral service will be held 12noon Monday February 4th at Wien & Wien Inc. Memorial Chapels, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ.
