

Steven Axelband was the most compassionate and selfless person, always caring for others. Born on February 6th, 1947 in Brooklyn New York. Steven met his wife, Marsha Randy Levy Axelband when he was only 17 years old and she was 16. They were married and spent 56 loving years together. He graduated from City College with a Masters in Engineering and worked at the ITT in Nutley New Jersey for 40 years.
Steven is survived by his sister Roberta (Bobbie), and predeceased by his brother Elliot. Steven is also survived by his two sons David and Joshua, his daughter-in-law Denise, and his five granddaughters Julia, Erin, Taylor, Alexandra, and Jacqueline. Steven is loved and remembered by people from all over. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Steven was a kind-hearted, hardworking man. He volunteered his time at the Teaneck Municipal Library. Steven travelled the world with his wife Marsha, always learning and bettering himself. Steven was active and enjoyed walking anywhere he could. He was an avid bike rider and taught his sons and all five of his grandchildren how to ride a bike. Steven adored spending time with his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Steven was a mentor to many, including his sons who admire and look up to him. His impact cannot be described in words and he will forever be remembered fondly by all the people who had the opportunity to know and love him.
