Sylvia Joyce Waller

Beloved wife of the late Irving. Devoted mother of Linda Waller Kocsis, Anne Glick and June Banker. Dear mother-in-law of Christopher Kocsis, Bob Glick and Bob Banker. Loving grandmother of Brian (Jenny), Jeremy (Stacey), Amanda (Jason), Jenny-Rose (Paul), Carolyn (Adam) and Michael. Cherished great grandmother of Lumin, Alycia, Aidan, Jackson, Colin, Brendan and Max.

Sylvia was active for 61 years in the New Milford community. She enjoyed 25 years as a teacher with the New Milford Board of Education. She loved children and enjoyed teaching 4th & 5th grade. Sylvia was active in Hadassah and a board member of the New Milford Public Library..

The funeral service was held on Wednesday April 23rd at our chapel, Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.

Interment followed at Beth El Cemetery, Washington Township, NJ 07676.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sylvia’s memory to the New Milford Public Library, 200 Dahlia Ave., New Milford, NJ 07646.
