

Surrounded by his loving family, Theodore "Pug" Weiner of Boynton Beach, Florida
passed away the morning of April 18, 2013. He was born on October 27, 1926 in
Brooklyn, NY, the son of Fannie and Samuel Weiner and the youngest of eight
children. Pug proudly served his country in World War II. He was trained as an
electrician and worked in the electrical supply business for almost 50 years.
Married to Frances Littman Weiner for more than 62 years, the couple lived in
Paterson, New Jersey after which they moved to Wayne, New Jersey and then to
Boynton Beach, Florida. Active in many civic and charitable organizations including
Paterson's Veterans Club, the Hebrew Free School and Hadassah, Pug was also
honored for a lifetime of service by the Paterson Police Benevolent Association.
An affectionate family presence, Pug led a life of devotion to his wife, to his children
Lesly and Mark, to his grandchildren Graham and Cameron, to his parents, brothers,
sister and their families. As a loyal friend, he was as ready witha a poignant memory
and a joke as he was with a helping hand.
Services will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Wien and Wien/Gutterman and Musicant,
402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 at 11:30 AM followed by the interment at
Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
Donations in Pug's name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or
Hadassah.
