Zipporah "Tippi" Ulman nee Taylor, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Arthur "Bud" Ulman, her children, Daniel (Marilyn) and Lynn (Dennis), her grandchildren, Matthew and Joseph Ulman and Michael and Christopher Schnabel and nieces and nephews. Tippi was a kind and loving friend. She will be very missed by all that knew her and loved her. She was a talented writer, having been published in the New York Times Op-Ed section, an avid crafter, knitting and quilting blankets for charity. Always community-minded, she was instrumental in creating the first PTA at Lincoln School and was active in many groups at Temple Emeth as well as for the town of Bergenfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated. Services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Iselin, NJ.
