Charles K Mielke

At age 57 on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 Chuck reached the "finish line of his final race" and was met at Heaven’s “winners’ circle” by his Dad and Mom, Mel and Pat, brother Gary, nephew Mark, and stepdad George Krautner. Chuck left behind his most important “pit crew”- Karen, his beloved wife of 38 yrs.; loving sons, Eric (Suzanne) and Michael (Dianne); adored grandchildren, Jeremy (Maggie), Jessa and Adelyn. Survived by his “loyal and cheering fans in the grandstand”, dear brothers, Dennis (Alexis) and Frank (Pat); sister, Dianne (Alan) Close; and sister-in-law, Marge. Within his supporting “fan club”, Chuck was the loving son-in-law of Frank and Rosemary Lein; caring brother-in-law of Debra (Ron) Morgan, Steven Lein, and Chris (Gerianne) Lein. Further survived by his “racing sponsors”, Uncle Gene (Betty) Mielke, “Aunt” Anita (Krautner) Stott, cherished nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, many past co-workers and numerous friends. Honored Godfather of Kevin Bushey and Katie Lein, and special friend to Dennis and Sue Haase. Chuck was an avid follower of Indy, NASCAR, Formula 1 racing and the Green Bay Packers. He greatly enjoyed taking trips to his many "TAN" locations with Karen, family and friends; in addition to, being a part of the many Mielke family camping trips throughout the years, even though he complained the whole time. Visitation Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the FUNERAL HOME, with Memorial Service to follow (7:00 PM). Private interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice, or a charity of choice appreciated
