Jean Andrae Wittenberg, of Mequon, WI died on March 2, 2011 at the age of 87. She was a loving mother to Tom (Sharon), Terry (Margaret), Kathy (the late Kenneth) Kittell, and Peter (Carri). Jean was a very special Grammy to Karli and Tyler Wittenberg & Kaari, Kyle, Kurtis, Kasey, and Katie Kittell. She was an endearing sister to Betty Alice Barnum. A UW-Madison graduate, Jean was an art teacher and talented artist who volunteered many years at her church in Fox Point. Her family started Andrae Electric in 1882, and donated Terry Andrae State Park in 1927 for all to enjoy. Visitation will be on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 4:00-5:00 with service to follow at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 11313 N. Riverland Rd. Mequon.
