Barbara Mary Rowe

Barbara Mary Rowe maiden name Donovan) of Halifax passed away November 24, 2024, at the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Halifax, she was the stepdaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Boudreau of Digby.

Barbara loved music and dancing and will always be remembered for her generosity and sparkling smile. Barbara worked as a secretary with husband Albert at the Halifax Waterfront and then as an Inventory Control Clerk at the Victoria General Hospital for the remainder of her career.

Survived by daughter Anne Marie Kollias (maiden name Theriault), son in law Peter Kollias (Fort Lauderdale Florida, granddaughters Alexis Kollias (Fort Lauderdale), Chelsea Podolak (maiden name Pepe) and Chelsea’s husband Kevin Podolak (Satellite Beach, FL). Great granddaughters Nixon Kollias (Chicago) and Mia Anne Podolak (Satellite Beach, FL). Many nieces/nephews.

Predeceased by husband Albert S. Rowe (1996)
