Donald "Andy" Andrew Paul Webster

Donald Andrew Paul Webster - 64, passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2026, in the Cardiac Care Unit of the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Andy enjoyed listening to older music, playing interactive (team based) games online, reading and gardening, especially planting various types of flowers. He always enjoyed talking to the neighbors or passersby as they would stop to admire his flowers. Andy was a dedicated employee of DND for 36 years as a Radar Technologist. His love for radars didn't stop at retirement, he would talk about radars at any opportunity he had. Andy was always willing to lend a hand to anyone, if he was able to help in any way. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Andy is survived by his wife Loretta, daughter Constance and brother David {Leigh) of Saskatchewan.

Andy was predeceased by his parents Donald and Elizabeth {Frail} Webster.

Many thanks to the 911 operator, EHS, Fire & Paramedics who worked on Andy at home, to the Doctors and nurses at the QEII Emergency, ICU and Cardiac Care Unit. Special thanks to Dr. Pier and Dr. Molar and the nurses in the ICU & CCU.

The phone calls and visits from family, friends and neighbors have been very much appreciated at this time. Thank you very much!

Arrangements have been entrusted to Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax, where a reception/celebration of Andy's life will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
