A carpenter by trade, Donnie loved baseball (Bluejays), George Jones and a fine ale. Donnie had a strong personality and a quick wit. He loved to cook and clean while whistling and listening to country music. He was a loving father and his Mother’s little buddy. He will be sadly missed and always loved by all.
Donnie is survived by his partner, Jackie Emerson; daughter, Tocarra Wilson; son, Alex; brothers, John, Stephen, Calvin and Tom; sisters, Phyllis, Susan, Darlene and Pauline; 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his spouse, Rose Wilson; his parents, William and Priscilla as well as his sister, Betty.
A memorial service will be held 2pm on Monday, September 26 at Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax.
