Howard, Dorothy Elizabeth, RN 96, Halifax passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home on June 6, 2015. She was born in Sudbury, Ontario the daughter of the late William and May Laycock. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Dr. Clarence Howard and her brother Ralph Laycock. Dorothy was a graduate of the Royal Victoria Hospital of Nursing, Montreal and enjoyed a successful career in her profession. She is survived by: her nieces Jane Laycock, Ottawa, Cheryl Day Ottawa and her Goddaughter Elizabeth (Red) Swaine of St. Margaret’s Bay, N.S. Cremation has taken place and Interment will be in Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston, Ontario at a later date. A very special thank you to all the staff of St. Vincent’s for their several years of compassionate care. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent’s Nursing Home.
