It is with shock and great sadness that the family of Dwayne Flynn must announce his sudden passing on August 13th 2024 at the age of 52 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his wife Ayola, parents Clayton and Dolores, sister Sonya (Jason), mother in law Adrianne, sister in law Myra and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Dwayne grew up in Labrador City, Newfoundland Labrador and moved to New York City after he received his Masters Degree in Architecture from Dalhousie University. In New York, he met his wife Ayola. They settled in Belfast, Maine for 8 years and then moved to Halifax in 2009.
Dwayne leaves his architectural legacy both in the United States and Canada, where several of his projects, from hospitals, schools and homes are built. He also enjoyed creating portraits, on paper and on the canvas.

A memorial will also be held this fall for friends and family in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Additional details will be provided.
