Eldred Francis "Frank" Clarke

Clarke, Eldred Francis ( Frank)89 beloved husband and father who will be forever missed, passed away peacefully in the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building QEII, Halifax, on Wednesday February 8, 2012 . Born in the Magdalen Islands, Quebec, on August 19, 1922. He was the son of the late Norris and Margaret Clarke. Frank served with the PEI Highlanders Armed Forces during the Second World War. He worked at the CNR for 46 years. Frank enjoyed being outside, especially in the Veterans Gardens and he also enjoyed bowling and playing cribbage. He is survived by his wife Margaret Elizabeth (Champion), Halifax, daughters Betty Jean (Doug) Frenette, Halifax, Linda (Jon David) Clarke, Dartmouth, and a brother George (Mary), Dartmouth. He was predeceased by sisters Margaret (Ash) .and Zeta (Napkin). Visitation will be held from 2-4, 6-8 Thursday February 16, 2012 in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. Halifax, where memorial service will be held 1pm onFriday February 17, 2012 in the funeral home chapel.
