Florence Pettipas

Florence Pettipas, 94, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home on April 23, 2014 after a brief illness. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sharon Clarke, Diane Aubé (Ray), Judy Hall (David) and Patsy Morgan. She is survived by 10 grandchildren (Marlo & Kathy, Lisa, Michelle & Nicole, Colleen, Amy & Julie, Jessie Lynn & Jordan) and 3 great-grandchildren Tyler, Mackensi and Noah. She will be missed by her sister Jean Sampson, brother Michael Bonin and lifelong friends. She was predeceased by her husband Dominique, son Donald, son-in-law Gordon Morrell and grand-daughter Lee-Anne Morrell – Dean.

The family would like to thank Dr. Peter Petropolis for the excellent care he provided to Florence during her lifetime until she entered SVNH. The family is also ever-grateful to the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s, especially the 6th Floor staff, Dr. Diane D’Arcy, Father Albert Cosgrove and the Chapel Staff & Volunteers for their compassion and exceptional medical & spiritual care, to both Florence and her immediate family.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Cruikshank’s Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home Chapel, 2080 Windsor Street, on the second floor, 10 May 2014 at 10 AM, with reception to follow. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent’s Nursing Home Chapel.
